The name Oviyalooms is inspired by the Tamil word “Oviyam”, which means painting or artwork. Just as an artist brings a blank canvas to life with every brushstroke, every saree tells its own story through colours, patterns and intricate weaves.

To us, a saree is never just fabric. It is wearable art.

We didn’t start Oviyalooms simply to sell sarees.
